Dehumidifier Service & Repair in Pune

Pune monsoon (Jun–Oct) regularly pushes indoor humidity above 75% — high enough to grow mold on walls, warp wooden flooring, and make split-AC dry-mode useless on its own. A properly sized dehumidifier solves this. We service compressor-based dehumidifiers across all major brands, handle filter replacement and coil cleaning, and help size the right capacity for your room before you buy. Same compressor + refrigerant team that runs our AC service.

Why us

Same skill set as AC service

Dehumidifiers are compressor-and-refrigerant machines, just like AC. Our team already runs leak detection, refrigerant work, and coil cleaning on AC — translating to dehumidifier service is one tool kit, not a different trade.

We help you size before you buy

A dehumidifier sized for the wrong room is the most common waste of money in this category. We'll talk you through Pune monsoon humidity, room volume, and capacity (litres/day) before you spend on a unit.

Pune monsoon expertise

Most dehumidifier issues we see surface in Jun–Sep when units run continuously. Filter, drain, and sensor faults are the common culprits — we know the patterns specific to Pune climate.

30DAY

30-day workmanship guarantee

If our work needs a callback inside 30 days, we come back and fix it — same technicians, no charge.

Dehumidifier Service & Repair — frequently asked

Do I actually need a dehumidifier in Pune?
If you're on the ground floor, in an old building, near greenery, or seeing mold/musty smells/damp walls during monsoon — yes, a dehumidifier is usually the right fix. If your home stays above 75% humidity for weeks at a stretch in Jul–Aug, a properly sized dehumidifier brings it down to 50–55% (the comfort sweet spot) and stops mold growth. AC dry mode helps in a single room while the AC runs, but it doesn't replace a dehumidifier for whole-flat humidity control.
What size dehumidifier do I need?
The standard rule is roughly 10 litres/day capacity per 250–300 sq ft for moderate humidity, scaled up for very damp spaces. For a typical 2BHK Pune flat in monsoon, a 12–20 litre/day unit is usually right. Basement-level rooms, newly renovated spaces (cement and paint take months to dry), and ground-floor flats near greenery need higher capacity. We'll talk you through your specific room before you buy — wrong sizing is the most common reason a dehumidifier disappoints.
My dehumidifier isn't collecting water. What's wrong?
Three likely causes, in order of frequency: (1) the room humidity is already below the unit's set humidistat threshold — check the setting; (2) the filter is clogged with monsoon dust, choking airflow over the coil — clean or replace; (3) refrigerant leak — the compressor runs but the coil isn't getting cold enough to condense moisture. We confirm on site with airflow and pressure tests. Sensor faults (humidistat reading wrong) are a less common fourth cause.
Do you handle all brands?
Yes — we service the brands sold in Pune: Symphony, Eureka Forbes, Sharp, Honeywell, Ozone, Hindware, Bionaire, and others. Most consumer dehumidifiers use standard refrigerants (R134a or R410A) and common compressor types — brand differences are mostly in the controller and casing, not the refrigeration loop. For very recent inverter-compressor models with proprietary controller boards, board-level repair may not be possible.
How often should a dehumidifier be serviced?
If you're using it through Pune monsoon (Jun–Oct, often 24/7), service it once before the season starts and once at the end. Filter cleaning is the homeowner's job — once a fortnight during heavy use. Annual coil clean and refrigerant pressure check from us extends the unit's life significantly. If the unit only runs occasionally, a single annual service before monsoon is enough.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes — 30-day workmanship warranty on every repair, same window we apply across AC, fridge, gas, PCB, and AMC services. Replacement parts (compressors, fans, control boards) carry their own manufacturer warranty separately, which we register for you at the time of fitment.
