AC Service & Cleaning in Pune

Routine AC service is what keeps a unit cooling well, drawing less power, and lasting its full 8–10 year life. We offer three service variants — dry, wet-jet, and deep clean — across split, window, cassette, ductable, and VRV/VRF systems. The right variant depends on how long it's been since the last service and what condition the unit is in; we help you pick on the phone before scheduling.

Why us

We recommend the variant your unit actually needs

If a dry service is enough, we say so. We don't upsell a wet-jet or chemical wash on a unit that doesn't need one — the recommendation comes from the unit's condition and time since last service, not a fixed package.

Outdoor unit included where it matters

Most service outfits clean the indoor unit and stop. We do the outdoor condenser coil on wet-jet and deep-clean variants — that's where Pune dust and pollen actually choke airflow and drop cooling efficiency.

Cooling and efficiency, measured

Gas pressure readings before and after the service are shared with you. If cooling doesn't improve, we tell you what else is wrong — coil damage, refrigerant low, fan motor weak — rather than pretending a clean fixed it.

AC Service & Cleaning — frequently asked

How often should I service my AC?
For Pune homes the standard rhythm is twice a year — once pre-summer (Feb–Mar) and once post-monsoon (Sep–Oct). The pre-summer visit gets the unit ready for peak load; the post-monsoon visit clears dust and humidity-driven mould from the coils before winter. Units that run heavily through summer (offices, restaurants, ground-floor flats near greenery) often benefit from a third mid-summer service. Single-service-per-year is the minimum we'd recommend on any unit that's still under regular use.
What's the difference between dry, wet-jet, and deep cleaning?
Dry service is a wipe-and-vacuum — open the indoor unit, clean the filter, dust the coil, check the drain, close up. It takes about 40 minutes per unit and suits units that were serviced in the last 6 months and are still cooling fine. Wet-jet service uses a high-pressure water pump to strip embedded dust and grime from both the indoor coil and the outdoor condenser — this is the biggest cooling and efficiency upgrade you can do without replacing parts, and the right choice for units 6+ months without service or showing any cooling drop. Deep clean / chemical wash is full disassembly with anti-bacterial coil treatment — reserved for neglected units or foul smell.
Do you service the outdoor unit too?
Yes — on wet-jet and deep-clean variants the outdoor condenser coil gets a full high-pressure water wash. Dust, pollen, and small debris choke the condenser fins over a Pune summer and that's typically where cooling drops first. Dry and standard wet service focus on the indoor unit; if you've never had the outdoor unit cleaned, a wet-jet service usually delivers a noticeable improvement in cooling and a measurable drop in power consumption.
Is jet cleaning safe for older ACs?
Yes, when done with the right pressure and angle. The risk on older units is bent fins on the coil, water ingress into the indoor PCB, or loosening of brittle drain joints — all avoidable with a trained technician who controls the jet pressure and protects the electrical compartment before starting. We've serviced units 10+ years old without damage. The judgment call we make on site: if the indoor unit's PCB is exposed or the drain pan is cracked, we step down to a careful hand-wash instead of jet pressure and tell you why.
Should I get my AC serviced before or after summer?
Both, ideally. The pre-summer service (Feb–Mar) is the more important of the two — it clears winter dust from the coils, checks gas pressure, flushes the drain, and confirms the unit is ready for the heaviest months ahead. The post-monsoon service (Sep–Oct) clears humidity-driven mould and the dust kicked up by monsoon winds before the unit goes dormant or shifts to occasional use. If you're picking one, do the pre-summer service.
Do you service window ACs and cassette ACs?
Yes — split, window, cassette, ductable, and VRV/VRF are all covered. Window ACs are usually dismounted from the wall, washed externally and internally on the ground, and remounted with the same brackets. Cassette ACs (the ceiling-mounted square units common in offices and clinics) need a different access workflow and we send technicians trained on cassette servicing. Ductable and VRV/VRF servicing is a separate scope sized to the system — coil cleaning, drain checks, refrigerant pressure across multiple indoor units, and filter replacement.
How do I know which service variant I need?
Quick guide: if the unit was serviced in the last 6 months and is cooling fine, dry service is enough. If it's been more than 6 months since the last service, or if cooling has clearly dropped and the power bill is higher than usual, wet-jet is the right call — that's where the outdoor coil cleaning makes the biggest difference. Deep clean / chemical wash is for units that smell musty, have visible mould on the coil, or have gone 2+ years without proper service. We'll confirm the recommendation on the phone before sending a technician.
