AC Annual Maintenance Contracts

An AMC is the cheapest way to keep an AC running well. Two scheduled services a year, priority response when something fails, and a transparent plan you don't have to negotiate every visit. Plans for single-unit homes and multi-unit commercial sites.

An AC AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) is a fixed yearly fee that bundles two scheduled deep-clean visits, gas pressure checks, drain flush, and electrical inspection — plus priority 24-hour callback for any breakdown. Residential plans start at ₹1,499 per AC per year and cover one pre-summer (Feb–Mar) and one post-monsoon (Sep–Oct) visit. Refrigerant top-ups and major component repairs (compressor, PCB, blower motor) are billed separately at AMC-discounted rates. AMCs are transferable within Pune city and the same technician services your units across visits.

What's included

  • Two scheduled deep-cleans per year (pre-summer + pre-monsoon recommended)
  • Filter wash, coil clean, drain flush, and gas pressure check on every visit
  • Priority callback within 24 hours for any breakdown
  • Discounted parts and labour for repairs outside the AMC scope
  • Service log shared after every visit so you know what was done

What's not covered

  • Compressor, PCB, blower-motor, and other major component replacements (billed separately at AMC-discounted rates)
  • Refrigerant gas top-up and re-gas (priced per gas type; AMC clients get 10–15% off standard rates)
  • Sealed-system repairs — coil replacement, evaporator or condenser failures
  • Stabilizer, household wiring upstream of the AC, and any civil work
  • Damage from voltage spikes, water ingress, or external causes
  • Comprehensive parts-and-labour cover (we currently offer standard AMC, not CMC — ask if you need it)

Major component issues outside the AMC scope are handled as standalone services — see AC PCB repair for component-level board diagnostics and gas leak detection & refill for nitrogen-pressure leak tests and refrigerant work.

Why us

Predictable, scheduled, documented

We send reminders, show up on time, and email you a service log. No 'whose turn is it' confusion at the start of summer.

Foam-jet on coils, filter wash, drain pipe flush, electrical check. Our service is the same one a brand authorised centre would charge double for.

Predictable scope — no upsell on every visit

If a part is fine, we say so. We won't invent failures to pad the bill — that's how we keep AMC clients for 5+ years.

Annual Maintenance Contract — frequently asked

What's covered in the AMC?
Each contract includes two scheduled deep-clean services per year, gas pressure checks at every visit, drain pipe flush, electrical inspection, and priority callback within 24 hours for any breakdown. We also share a service log after every visit so you have a written record of what was done. Replacement parts and refrigerant top-ups during the contract period are billed separately, but at AMC-discounted rates.
What's NOT covered?
Major component replacement — compressor, PCB, blower motor, sealed-system parts — is not included in the AMC fee, and neither is refrigerant gas itself. These are billed separately when needed, but AMC clients get a 10–15% discount on parts and labour. Anything outside the unit (stabilizer, wiring upstream of the AC, civil work) is also out of scope.
How often do you visit?
Residential AMCs include two scheduled visits per year by default, typically pre-summer (Feb–Mar) and post-monsoon (Sep–Oct) — the two windows when ACs are most likely to develop issues. Quarterly plans are available as an add-on for residential clients with multiple units, and standard for commercial. Beyond the scheduled visits, you can call us anytime during the contract for breakdowns and you get priority response.
Can I add ACs to my AMC mid-year?
Yes — additional units can be added to an existing AMC at any point during the contract, and the cost is pro-rated against the remaining contract period. There's no penalty or re-enrollment fee for mid-year additions. If you've moved house or installed a new unit, just send us the model and address and we'll quote the addition.
Do you offer commercial AMCs for offices and shops?
Yes — we run AMCs for multi-unit residential, ductable systems, and VRV/VRF setups across Pune offices, clinics, retail, and IT setups. Commercial pricing is per-tonnage with on-site preventive service quarterly (or on the schedule agreed in the contract). For multi-site portfolios we offer consolidated invoicing and a single point of contact across locations.
How much does an AC AMC cost in Pune?
Residential AC AMC starts at ₹1,499 per AC per year for a single split unit, covering two scheduled deep-cleans (pre-summer and post-monsoon), gas pressure check at every visit, drain flush, electrical inspection, and a 24-hour priority callback for any breakdown. Multi-unit homes and small offices get volume discounts; commercial AMCs (ductable, VRV/VRF) are priced per outdoor unit plus connected indoors with quarterly preventive service built in. Replacement parts and refrigerant top-ups during the contract period are billed separately at AMC-discounted rates (10–15% below standard).
Is an AC AMC actually worth it for a single home?
For a single home with one or two split ACs that already get serviced once a year, an AMC saves money roughly when (a) the units are 3+ years old and starting to need more than basic cleaning, (b) you've had at least one breakdown call in the last summer that wasn't a single-fault, or (c) you don't want to spend time scheduling service every March and October. For brand-new units in their first year, the manufacturer warranty covers most failure modes — an AMC is more about scheduling discipline than insurance. We'll tell you upfront which side of the line your setup falls on; we don't push AMC where it doesn't make sense.
Can my AMC be transferred if I move within Pune?
Yes — AMC contracts are tied to the units, not the address, and they transfer with you anywhere within Pune city without re-enrollment fees or scope changes. Tell us the new address and we update the service log; the same technicians continue to service your units. If you sell the unit with the property and the new owner wants to keep the AMC active, that's possible too — we'll need their contact details to update the contract.
What's the difference between AMC and CMC?
AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) covers scheduled preventive servicing — typically two deep-cleans per year, gas pressure checks, drain flushing, and priority breakdown response. Replacement parts and major component repairs (compressor, PCB, blower motor) are billed separately, though AMC clients pay AMC-discounted rates on parts and labour. CMC (Comprehensive Maintenance Contract) bundles the same preventive servicing with parts and labour coverage for in-scope failures — typically for a higher annual fee with the comprehensive coverage usually capped or tiered. We currently offer standard AMC plans. If you're shopping comprehensive coverage for older units or a commercial setup where downtime costs matter, talk to us during the site visit and we'll tell you whether comprehensive is the right economics for your specific units.
Does an AMC include gas refill?
Refrigerant gas itself is not included in the standard AMC fee — but AMC clients get a discounted per-cylinder rate (typically 10–15% below standard) when a top-up is needed. The gas pressure check during each scheduled visit catches slow leaks early, which usually means smaller, cheaper top-ups instead of full re-gas after a coil failure. If the pressure check shows the system needs more than a top-up, we run a nitrogen pressure-test (included in the AMC visit) to find the leak before adding refrigerant — adding gas without finding the leak is wasted money. Some competitors include 1 gas top-up/yr in higher-tier 'comprehensive' plans; we currently don't bundle gas, but we don't mark it up either.
What's the difference between wet and dry AC service?
Dry service is a vacuum-and-wipe: the technician opens the indoor unit, cleans the filter, dusts the coil, and closes up. It takes 20 minutes and doesn't actually remove the bacterial slime, embedded dust, and post-monsoon mould that build up on the evaporator coil. Wet service (also called jet wash) is the full sequence: indoor unit dismounted, evaporator coil chemically washed with foam, drain pipe flushed, filter washed, electrical contacts inspected, then reassembled and tested. This takes 60–90 minutes and is what we do on every scheduled AMC visit — Pune dust and monsoon humidity make wet service essential for actual cooling performance. Dry service is mostly cosmetic.
